Anyone can focus on their own needs, but doing what you can to make someone else's day better can completely change your entire perspective. I used to think mostly about my own desires, but after I started volunteering, things really opened up for me in the long run. I wanted to create a blog completely dedicated to giving back to the community, so I started looking for new opportunities to serve.
